An asset to Glen Ellyn District 41

It is very exciting that Terra Costa Howard is again seeking election to the Glen Ellyn Elementary District 41 board.

Terra's law background (serving on the Child Law Section Council), and her smart, prudent lifestyle are strong assets that bring immediate value to District 41. Dedicated to grounds maintenance, curriculum improvements and positive learning environments, Terra unexhaustedly remains committed to our children and our community.

Over the years, I've held several concerns, frustrations, ideas, and Terra has always listened, answered and followed-up on each of our conversations. Whether or not we are in agreement, Terra has always been honest. From conversations I've had with others, I know Terra has treated each person with the same respect and importance.

Terra is dedicated to keeping families in Glen Ellyn informed, secure and happy with their schools. Her straightforward style is well-received, and I appreciate that she is not in this for the accolades. Terra works to provide excellence for our community, not for personal gain. She is fair, thoughtful and realistic to the needs of the teachers and staff as she works to successfully link this with the needs of the families.

This is no easy task, and Terra does so with integrity and loyalty to both sides. I certainly hope Terra can continue sharing her talents with our school district. People like Terra do not come around often and we are certainly a better community because of what she has given us.
