Nothing's beyond reach of the tax man
Politicians continually amaze me. Just when I think they have sunken as low down as possible they manage to sink lower. I am referring to one of their latest tax schemes. I just read that they are contemplating taxing funeral expenses.
Soon It will cost you to die. How low can they go?
What's next, a birth tax? If the parents don't pay the tax the pregnancy will be terminated? It wouldn't be murder, It's perfectly legal: just ask any pro-choice follower.
Or perhaps they can develop a means of taxing the air we breathe. A locked-on hood with a coin slot comes to mind. Drop in coins every day or strangle.
Oops, I shouldn't have mentioned that. The politicos may not have thought of it. It also amazes me that politicos, who profess to have intelligence far above and beyond the common citizen (they always know what's best for us) have only a two word vocabulary: tax and spend.
As my final thought, consider Obama's speech to the schoolchildren. Back in the early 1930s an infamous European political figure began his climb to absolute power by propagandizing the youth of his country.
