Democrats prove they can do things right

We were on the verge of depression, Mr. Vogel. Do you know what that means? We could have had another 25 million people unemployed, as we did in the thirties.
President Obama has been in office nine months, the gestation period for a woman to have a baby. Now the baby has to learn how to walk and talk and do all the things grown-ups do; maybe you would have liked his policies to fail, like Mr. Limbaugh and his ilk, so we would have fallen into a depression, due to all those clever businessmen who got us into this mess in the first place.
Just because he is a Democrat doesn't mean he can't do something right. It was the Democrats who gave us social security and Medicare, and I don't hear anyone crying we should give it back or scuttle them.
It was the Republicans who put us in the situation we're still in.
The only really good health plans I ever hear about are the ones underwritten by our taxes. Just ask any public employee.
As for our rampant unemployment, it's not the Democrats sending our jobs overseas, it's the fat cat Republicans.
