Golfing for all ages in Cary

Foxford Hills Golf Club will host a Community Day from 3 to 9 p.m. April 26. Area residents of all ages are invited to stop by to participate in a variety of complimentary activities.

This family event provides visitors an opportunity to hit golf balls; receive a lesson from a golf professional on staff; learn about upcoming lessons, leagues and events; and enjoy a light dinner/snack.

Visitors also will be able to practice their swing after dark as half of the 30-stall driving range will be lighted and open until 10 p.m.

Foxford Hills Golf Club, owned and operated by the Cary Park District, is an 18-hole golf course which features a golf shop and The Den restaurant. The address is 6800 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.

The course is open to the public and offers lessons, leagues, a driving range and permanent tee times.
