Pay cut is better than no job at all
It is interesting that Democrats still haven't gone after the auto unions for any concessions. No executive in a failing company should get a bonus. Those who have led the way to failure deserve to get fired.
But every employee ought to be asked to give up something to keep the company viable and jobs available.
A job with a 10 to 20 percent cut in total compensation is better than no job at all. The higher the compensation package, the greater the requested sacrifice should be.
