Larkin 11, Lake Park 8: The Royals (9-7, 5-1) won their fourth straight Upstate Eight Conference game with a victory in Roselle. Larkin jumped to a 10-1 lead through three innings and Scott Harm (1-3) earned his first win of the season despite allowing 7 earned runs and 11 hits in 5 innings pitched. Jon Meidel earned his second save, limiting the Lancers to 1 unearned run in the final 2 innings.

Larkin center fielder Justin Kalusa finished 3-for-4 with a double, triple and 4 RBI, Meidel went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple and Joe Stace added 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Royals.

Burlington Central 15, Genoa-Kingston 0: Nick Hahn tossed a 5-inning perfect game, and the Rockets erupted for 17 hits in a nonconference victory at Genoa.

"I was using my changeup and curve equally along with my fastball," Hahn said. "I get a lot of groundballs and my defense played great behind me today."

Central (9-4), which played error-free defense, was led at the plate by catcher Austin Jarvis (2-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 runs), Tyler Wilkening (2-for-3, 3 RBI) and Hahn (2-for-4, 3 RBI).

Streamwood 12, East Aurora 0: The Sabres completed a 2-game sweep of the visiting Tomcats behind a 5-inning perfect game from senior starting pitcher Tim Martin, who struck out 6. Brian Brauer socked 2 home runs, including a grand slam, to finish with 7 RBI and patient Streamwood drew 11 walks to go with 12 hits.

Hampshire 11, Alden-Hebron 1: Ryan DeChant (2-0) allowed 1 earned run in 3 innings and helped his own cause with a solo home run as the Whip-Purs won a nonconference game against the visiting Giants in five innings. Zach Crinigan and James Goebbert each doubled for Hampshire (8-7).
