Bartlett wins U-46 badminton meet at Larkin

Bartlett won the U-46 badminton tournament held at Larkin Saturday with 22 total points, followed by Larkin (15), South Elgin (14), Streamwood (14) and Elgin (5).

Bartlett's top two doubles teams of Kristen Kress and Alexa Tecson and Nicole Go and Stephanie Curtis each took first place while improving to 4-0 on the season. Freshman Mary Jo Baubkus (4-0) also finished first in No. 4 singles for Bartlett. Larkin's Betty Flores prevailed at No. 1 singles with 4 victories.
