Bartlett
• Anthony Comastro, 17, of the 1300 block of Caribou Trail, Carol Stream, and Alexander Svoboda, 17, of the 800 block of Faith Lane, Bartlett, were arrested around 8:30 a.m. Oct. 26 at Bartlett High School, 701 W. Schick Road, and charged with local ordinance disorderly conduct. Their court date is Dec. 3. • Timothy J. Martin, 32, of the 200 block of Second Street, Elgin, was arrested around 2:50 p.m. Oct. 21 on the 200 block of East Morse Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct. His court date is Nov. 17.
• Burglars stole a Kawasaki 1500 motorcycle out of a garage at a home on North Crest Avenue overnight Oct. 27-28 and let the air out of the tires on a truck and slashed two tires on a second motorcycle at the home. Loss was estimated at $200. • Burglars broke into a vehicle at The Victory Center, 1105 W. Bartlett Road, around 10 p.m. Oct. 23 and stole a GPS unit, cell phone charger and four storage bins. • Ryan A. Santiago, 19, of the 1800 block of Victor, Hanover Park, was arrested around 9:35 p.m. Oct. 29 at his home and charged with violating an order of protection.
• Brett Cartuyvels, 46, of the 900 block of Sycamore, Bartlett, was arrested around 12:50 p.m. Oct. 28 at Barrington Road and Maple and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic violation.
• Julie P. Marques, 17, of the 1500 block of Celebrity, Hanover Park, was arrested around 3:50 p.m. Oct. 27 at her home and charged with disorderly conduct and making a false police report.
• Terry Jennings, 33, of the 1800 block of Bonnie, Hoffman Estates, was arrested around 6:25 p.m. Oct. 25 on the 2400 block of Leslie and charged with criminal trespass and assault.
• Vandals shattered the rear windshield on a Honda Civic in a driveway on the 2000 block of Leeward overnight Oct. 27-28.
Hoffman Estates
• A vandal shot a BB-gun pellet into a second-floor bedroom window at a home on the 4200 block of Winston Drive between 3 a.m. Oct. 24 and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
• Thieves stole a leather wallet valued at $80 from a female customer at Walgreens, 1000 N. Roselle Road, around 1:50 p.m. Oct. 27 after she left it on a pharmacy counter.
• Vandals knocked down a 25-foot portion of a 6-foot-tall wooden fence around a storage area at Woodfield Motor Sports, 85 E. Golf Road, between 3 p.m. Oct. 25 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 27. Two ATVs were moved in the storage area, as if the offenders were trying to steal them. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
• Burglars stole a radio-controlled car valued at $550 out of a 2005 Saab in a driveway on the 1700 block of Pebble Beach Drive between 7 p.m. Oct. 27 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 28.
• Thieves stole a laptop computer valued at $1,000 out of a cabinet at Siemens, 2501 N. Barrington Road, between July 31 and Oct. 12.
Palatine
• A man stole two cases of beer, a bucket of chicken wings, two whole roasted chickens and three dipping sauces, valued at $58, from Jewel-Osco, 45 S. Plum Grove Road, between 5:40 and 5:45 p.m. Oct. 28. He dropped the food in the parking lot and fled when a security agent chased him. He was described as 25-30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 200 pounds, bald, brown goatee and wearing a white bandanna and black coat.
• Burglars reached through an open window on a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer in a restaurant lot at 2365 N. Hicks Road between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and stole a GPS valued at $300.
• Vandals slashed three tires on a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser in an apartment lot on the 0-100 block of Dundee Quarter between 8 p.m. Oct. 27 and 6 a.m. Oct. 28.
• Thieves stole an unlocked brown BMX bike, valued at $369, leaning against a fence at Palatine High School, 1111 N. Rohlwing Road, between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
• Thieves stole a 31/2-foot-tall concrete statue, a memorial to a student, outside St. Theresa School, 445 N. Benton St., between 4 p.m. Oct. 23 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 26. The statue depicted a little girl holding a pinwheel. Vandals also smashed a large clay flower pot. Loss was estimated at $520.
Schaumburg
• Shanice R. Williams, 17, of the 1300 block of Kingsbury, Hanover Park, and Lindy S. Young, 17, of the 1800 block of Georgia Court, Schaumburg, were arrested around 9:40 a.m. Oct. 28 at the police department and charged with mob action after a fight on the 500 block of Cambridge Drive Oct. 21. Reports said Young punched and kicked a girl lying on the ground and that Williams and others incited the action. Young also was charged with simple battery. A court date is Nov. 30.
• Burglars pried the door at a store on the 1700 block of East Algonquin Road between 11 p.m. Oct. 26 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 27 and stole a TV and several bottles of liquor, value estimated at $600. They climbed over a wall into the manager's office, ransacked the room and disconnected the video security system.
• Burglars broke into three vehicles in a townhouse complex between 10 p.m. Oct. 27 and 6 a.m. Oct. 28. They stole a set of golf clubs valued at $300 out of a 2000 Ford wagon on the 1200 block of Cranbrook Drive, a GPS unit valued at $400 out of a 2003 Cadillac sedan on the 300 block of Lucille Lane, and a laptop computer and aviation headset, value estimated at $500, out of a 2004 Mazda sedan on the 1300 block of Cranbrook Court.
• Thieves stole a cell phone valued at $300 out of a jacket pocket after the female victim left it in a fitting room at Express in Woodfield Mall between 2:55 and 3:05 p.m. Oct. 25.
