Stop the infighting, elect Babcock and Bokor

I urge you to vote for Peggy Babcock and Rich Bokor on April 7.

Peggy Babcock and Rich Bokor would be valuable additions to the District 15 school board because they are consensus builders. They understand that District 15 cannot be successful unless the entire district, including the school board, the community, the administrators, the teachers and the students all work together and respect one another.

Over the past 10 years, I've attended many school board meetings and have watched how the school board members interact with one another and the district. Frequently, I've seen bickering among the board members, micromanagement (in the name of transparency) of the district's day-to-day operations and criticism of the administrators and the teachers.

Currently, neither the school board members nor the district seem to trust one another. That trust must be restored before District 15 can move forward and be successful.

Peggy Babcock and Rich Bokor have proven that they are able to cooperatively reach consensus on important issues. Neither Peggy nor Rich have any hidden agendas. They both want what is best for District 15 and the community it serves.

They will be able to restore the trust that has been lost. Only then can District 15 achieve its potential.
