Afghan war is doomed to failure

Continuing an Afghan war is doomed to failure. Never have the Afghanis been defeated. They have been called the Graveyard of Empires. In the recent past, Britain and Russia have both failed after years of strife. The world needs us, America, to pull back and promote peace. Just the doing of that will help restore our good reputation, but more importantly, keep people alive and our planet alive. War is not good for living things.
