Kane Co. 4-H to host International Event

The Kane County 4-H Clubs invite the public to attend a special International Event scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 20.

The event will be held at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road in St. Charles. Displays will be in the north end of Robinson Hall.

For this event, 4-H clubs and their members have studied a country of their choice and prepared a display for viewing. Some clubs will also provide samples of ethnic foods. All youth visiting this event will receive a passport to travel the displays and learn more about the countries through trivia questions. A small prize will be given to youth who answer at least half of the trivia questions correctly.

This program has been designed as a family event, and all are welcome to attend to learn more about other countries and their customs. There will be a small donation of $1 for each person age 7 and older. All proceeds will benefit 4-H programs throughout Kane County.

For information about this event or about 4-H, call the University of Illinois Extension Office - Kane County at (630) 584-6166.
