Illinois Tool Works sees acquisition activity picking up

Illinois Tool Works Inc. Chief Financial Officer Ron Kropp predicted the company's acquisition activity would increase in 2010.

"We hope to have significant acquisitions over the next few years," Kropp said today on a conference call.

The company is based in Glenview.
