These stop signs don't do any good
As a resident of Mount Prospect I agree with Cindy Niersbach, the stop sign at Columbine and Tano Lane is of no use. Columbine and Tano Lane is a "T" and not an intersection, there is another stop sign at Columbine and Oneida Lane, another "T".
I have lived on Oneida Lane for 30 years, there were never any stop signs until approximately six months ago. Apparently Mount Prospect most have hade some extra money and decided to spend it by putting stop signs. I have driven on Oneida Lane on to Columbine and past Tano Lane morning and evening for the past 30 years and have never seen an accident so why the stop signs now?
The traffic pattern in these two locations is such that two cars never arrive at the same spot at the same time. Take the signs down.
