Let the wealthy solve the problem

Here's my idea to conquer the recession/depression. Ask all well-to-do Americans, and this is the key value and secret cornerstone of capitalism - if not yet revealed, to take their abundant financial resources and create as many as possible monetary transactions. This will not only stimulate example in the economy, but it will also act as a catalyst for subsequent monetary transactions. The wealthy can use this dire time to aid the United States. They can also use this time of depressed prices to ascertain and achieve more of their private realm of a dream world.

For instance, buy a sports franchise. Build that state-of-the-arts recording studio in the mountains or city loft that you've pushed off and would probably delay forever until you're too old to enjoy it. Build a mega-concert-arts-theater-museum. Put your name on it. Stand in eternity, and think how you will be remembered. This is what the rich are good for in a capitalistic society - to smooth us through the rough spots. There is no loss of money or esteem in my solution. In fact, just the opposite would happen. Furthermore, this will pump the American spirit, and create a new awareness of what it means to be successful, to have substantial amounts of extra money. And not even the poor can doubt their health in the final end. Buy malls, buy apartment complexes, redevelop aged sections of cities. Hire people, even at lower wages - that would be fair - and millions would jump at the chance to work. Everyone will buy into you. It is your best chance to be happy in life.
