7th annual GLMV/K Coat Drive For Vets begins

With winter around the corner, the seventh annual Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills … along with Hawthorn Woods/Kildeer Coat Drive For Vets is now underway, on behalf of Midwest Veteran’s Closet, a not-for-profit charity that provides free clothing and other items to the country’s former soldiers and others.

You can help veterans and their families in need by dropping off winter coats, jackets, and other seasonal outerwear at any of the over-40 participating collection locations (including GLMV/K village halls, municipalities and businesses) through Nov. 20.

Clean out those closets and donate items to keep veterans and their families warm this winter. All sizes and styles are welcome, children through adults.

MVC is appreciative for the many coats generously donated through the community over the years.
