Countryside Fire Protection District open house/pancake breakfast set for Oct. 4

Countryside Fire Protection District is hosting an open house and pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Oct. 4 at Station 2, 600 N. Deerpath Drive, Vernon Hills.

Families can explore the fire station and its equipment and watch demonstrations, including vehicle extrications.
