Mount Prospect American Legion Post to hold charity golf outing

Mount Prospect’s American Legion Post 525 will host its 11th annual Fall Classic on Oct. 1 at the Mount Prospect Golf Course, 600 S. See Gwun Ave.

This will be a fundraiser for Veterans Path to Hope, a charitable organization that assists veterans.

The event features 18 holes of golf using a Two-Man Scramble (“Best Ball”) format followed by a buffet lunch and prize presentations. The cost is $130 per person and includes a cart, sleeve of balls and several popular games. Also included is an entry into a special prize raffle.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
