Schaumburg to host Community Blood Drive Sept. 15

The Village of Schaumburg will host its next Community Blood Drive from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1320 W. Schaumburg Road.

Participants should call 1-877-25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online at vitalant.org and use sponsor code ORD0SH98. Appointments are highly recommended but walk-ins are welcome. Be sure to bring an ID.

Participating donors will receive a coupon for a free pint of Culver’s frozen custard. Donors also will receive a Halloween glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, and two donors will win $10,000.
