Woodstock man killed in motorcycle crash identified
The DuPage County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a man killed after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Aug. 4 in Naperville.
Justin Raymond, 23, of Woodstock, was the driver of the motorcycle that collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck at the intersection of East Warrenville Road and North Washington Street, according to the coroner’s office.
Naperville police say emergency crews responded at about 11:17 p.m. to the intersection of East Warrenville and North Washington. When they arrived, they found a Ford F-150 pickup with heavy damage to its front left quarter panel and a Honda motorcycle with significant damage.
The motorcycle driver was unresponsive and pronounced dead, police said.
A passenger on the motorcycle, a 22-year-old woman from Woodstock, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Authorities said the driver of the pickup truck, a 20-year-old West Chicago man, was evaluated but refused medical treatment.
During an investigation, officials determined the motorcycle was going east on Warrenville when it collided with the pickup, which was making a left-hand turn onto westbound Warrenville Road from a private drive.
