Victim of fatal Ingleside shooting identified

Lake County authorities on Monday identified a 30-year-old man as the victim of a deadly shooting early Friday in Ingleside.

Joshua Strong of Ingleside died of multiple gunshot wounds, the Lake County Coroner’s Office reported.

Authorities said Strong was found shot at about 3:10 a.m. Friday by Lake County sheriff’s deputies called to a disturbance in progress in the 25900 block of West Laneville Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies found a person matching the description of a suspected shooter outside the home and detained him, authorities said, but there have been no charges and the case remains under investigation.
