Downtown Wheaton adds a new corn roast to the lineup of wine walk, live music, and family fun
Downtown Wheaton Day on July 24 will be kicking off the annual Summer Sidewalk Sales weekend, launching a season of shopping, live music, family activities and community celebrations.
From finding deals at local boutiques to sipping wine, hunting for school supplies and sampling creative corn-inspired dishes, downtown Wheaton offers something for every age throughout the summer. A complete schedule can be found at VisitDowntownWheaton.org.
“Summer is one of the most exciting times to experience downtown Wheaton,” said Allison Orr, executive director of the Downtown Wheaton Association. “Whether you're shopping during our Sidewalk Sales, enjoying live music under the Hale Street Tents, sipping your way through the Summer Wine Walk, or discovering one of our new events, there's always something happening that brings our community together while supporting our incredible local businesses.”
In addition to this summer's special events, the Innovator Hale Street Tents has returned for its sixth year. What started as a pandemic response in 2020 has since become a popular outdoor dining destination in downtown Wheaton. Featuring al fresco dining and live music in a festive atmosphere, the Hale Street Tents remain a community favorite through early October.

Kendra Schultz Family Fun Tent
Saturday, July 25 and Aug. 8, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
Enjoy family-friendly entertainment on the final two Family Fun Tent dates of the season. Activities vary each week, making each visit a new experience. On July 25, it will be a Foam Party with Chicago Foam Co. and on Aug. 8, it will be the Animal Quest Show from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. followed by a mini petting zoo from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Generously sponsored by Kendra Schultz Real Estate Broker, Baird & Warner.

Families are invited to search downtown Wheaton for hidden school supply images throughout downtown. Find 10 hidden items and return your completed map to the Wheaton Public Library welcome desk for a chance to win a $20 Downtown Wheaton gift card. Summer Wine Walk
Thursday, Aug. 20, from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Swirl, sip, stroll, repeat! Soak up the final days of summer while enjoying 15 1-oz. wine tastings inside participating Downtown Wheaton businesses. Between sips, stop by the Food Tasting Locations for up to five samples from local eateries. VIP tickets include exclusive wine stoppers, lounge, and goodie bags.

Corn Roast

Wheaton Wellness Expo

Come together on the Wheaton Public Library’s West Plaza and meet like-minded individuals, business owners, and more. It is a collaboration with the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce.
Innovator Hale Street Tents

The Innovator Hale Street Tents return for another summer of outdoor dining, live music and fun. This months-long event has become a community favorite, attracting thousands of diners each year. Downtown Wheaton Summer Music Series
