Elburn man faces child pornography charges

An Elburn man has been charged with possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse materials.
Jonathan D. Albrecht, 31, of the 400 block of East Willow Street, was arrested July 9.
The charges allege that on April 23, he electronically disseminated a video file containing child sexual abuse material featuring a victim under the age of 13.
He is being detained at the Kane County jail. His next court date is Friday.
The case was investigated by the Kane County Child Exploitation Unit, a collaboration of the sheriff’s and state’s attorney’s offices.
