Naper Settlement partners with Bensidoun USA to expand the 2026 farmers market experience

The seasonal market brings 40+ vendors, live music, agricultural classes, and new children’s programming to Naperville’s historic 13-acre campus.

Naper Settlement is partnering with Bensidoun USA for the 2026 Naper Settlement Farmers Market. Returning to the museum’s 13-acre outdoor campus, the market will run every Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m., beginning June 30 through Sept. 22.

This new partnership elevates the community shopping experience by introducing a curated lineup of over 40 new and returning food and retail vendors, offering everything from fresh local meats to seasonal flowers.

“Bensidoun USA Inc. is a premier market management company that has partnered with more than 50 communities throughout Chicagoland, New York, and the arrondissements of Paris to showcase the best of local artisans, farmers, and specialty food producers,” said Christina Cahill, director of marketing at Bensidoun USA. “Bensidoun is excited to collaborate with the team at Naper Settlement to create a vibrant experience that combines food, entertainment, and community to celebrate the unique personality and rich cultural spirit of Naperville.”

In addition to a picturesque shopping experience, the museum will provide a variety of live music and educational activities that will help visitors dive deeper into the world of agriculture.

2026 Market Highlights & Weekly Programming:

• Expanded shopping (3-7 p.m.): More than 40 local vendors offering fresh meats, produce, baked goods, and handmade retail items, managed by Bensidoun USA.

• Live music on the Paw Paw Post Office Porch (4-7 p.m.): Weekly bluegrass, folk, or jazz performances on the historic Paw Paw Post Office porch. Visitors are invited to enjoy a delicious meal from a local food truck and relax at the museum’s picnic tables while enjoying the evening’s entertainment.

• Special event: The June 30 opening market features a WDCB Jazz Night performance by Matt Shevitz Trio from 4-7 p.m.

• Adult Food & Nature Classes (5-6 p.m.): Local experts lead hands-on educational sessions on topics like beekeeping, canning, and raising backyard chickens in Century Memorial Chapel and the Benck Family Agriculture Center.

• “Down on the Farm Hour” Kid’s Activities (5:30-6:30 p.m.): A new children's hour hosted at the Harvard Early Learning Playscape and Splashpad. Activities and performances include performances by Miss Jamie’s Farm, interactive story time with the Naperville Public Library, and more. After, families are invited to enjoy the playground and splashpad.

• Free museum exploration: Visitors can tour the historic Blacksmith Shop and one-room Schoolhouse, as well as the museum’s captivating new exhibit, “We the People: Naperville and the American Story” in celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
