Rides, music and fun at Wauconda Fest, June 25-28

Wauconda Fest returns Thursday through Sunday, June 25-28, with rides, live music, food, bingo and more. The festival will be held at Cook Park, 600 N. Main St., Wauconda. Admission is $5 for all four days, cash only.

Festival hours are 5-10 p.m. Thursday, June 25; 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, June 26; noon to midnight Saturday, June 27; and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 28. Unlimited ride specials will be available for $35 from 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Live music includes 7th heaven at 7:30 p.m. Thursday; Hillbilly Rock Starz at 7 p.m. and Lounge Puppets at 9:30 p.m. Friday; The Throwbacks at 4 p.m., The Blooze Brothers at 7 p.m. and 90s Pop Nation at 9:30 p.m. Saturday; and Remix Riot at 3 p.m., The Abby Kay Band at 5 p.m. and Modern Day Romeos at 7 p.m. Sunday.

A car show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Other activities include bingo from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday; a police dog demonstration at 1 p.m. Saturday; bags tournaments for adults at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and parents and teens at 2:30 p.m. Sunday; and more.
