FBI plans training exercise at Warrenville school today

The Federal Bureau of Investigation will conduct a planned training exercise at Hubble Middle School in Warrenville today from roughly 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The training will include the use of helicopters, according to the city of Wheaton. Due to the school’s proximity to Wheaton, the city said it’s providing notice in collaboration with Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200 and the city of Warrenville so that people are not alarmed to see a large law enforcement presence in the area.

There is no emergency and no active threat to the school or community.

People should avoid the area to ensure public safety and provide the FBI with the space it needs to conduct the training.
