The Barrington softball team’s undefeated season came to an end Monday at the NIU supersectional while the Naperville Central girls soccer team puts its undefeated record on the line this weekend at the state tournament. Kevin Schmit looks at both special seasons.

York’s girls lacrosse team advanced to the state championship game with a semifinal win Thursday while Barrington will play in the third-place game.

Wheaton Academy and St. Viator’s boys lacrosse teams won semifinal games Thursday to reach the state championship game Saturday night.

The boys state volleyball tournament starts Friday at Bolingbrook and includes these teams.
