Wesley’s Place Live Music Venue will feature an acoustic evening with New England duo Crowes Pasture Friday, June 12. The event takes place at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of La Grange, 100 W. Cossitt Ave.

The songwriting team of Monique Byrne and Andy Rogovin won the Country/Bluegrass Song at the 2024 International Acoustic Music Awards and have placed eleven songs in the top ten on the Folk Alliance International charts. Folk singer/songwriter Mark Dvorak will host the evening and perform an opening set. Dvorak’s original material has been called “wondrous” and “profound.” In 2012 WFMT 98.7 fm Midnight Special radio show named him “Chicago’s official troubadour.”

Since 2022 Wesley’s Place Live Music Venue has been presenting live music in the chapel at the First United Methodist Church of La Grange, 100 W. Cossitt Ave.

“We’ve expanded our program for the 2026 season,” said Ellis. “We’ve added more shows to the schedule and improved our publicity effort. Our last three shows were near sellouts. We’re gaining momentum and building a reputation for presenting the very best in folk and local acoustic music.”

Tickets to the family-friendly show are $20 and available at the door. Advance reservations can be made at wesleysplacemusic.com
