Dining out: Giordano’s offering discounts equal to gas prices, win a trip to Whiskey Row from Sullivan’s Steakhouse
Some relief from pain at the pump
Rising gas prices could save you money on pizza at Giordano’s.
The chain has launched its new “Summer Savings — Save a Gallon” promotion, offering loyalty members a discount equal to the average price of a gallon of gas in Chicago off any pizza order all summer long.
The discount will refresh weekly on Mondays based on AAA gas prices, giving customers ongoing savings through the summer season. The promotion started with a $5.43 discount.
The offer applies to all Giordano’s pizzas for dine-in, carryout and delivery orders nationwide with a minimum order size of $15.

Big Night Out
Melting Pot is leaning into its interactive dining theme with its new “Big Night Out” experience, a curated four-course fondue dinner they say is designed to turn date nights, celebrations and group outings into a more social and memorable dining occasion.
The experience spotlights Melting Pot’s “Feast and Fusion” entrée fondues, featuring selections such as filet, lobster and colossal shrimp, alongside the brand’s signature cheese and chocolate fondue courses. Diners start off choosing a cheese fondue, then pick two salads, entrees and cooking style and a chocolate fondue for dessert.
It’s $127 for two and $63.50 for each additional person. Melting Pot has suburban locations in Downers Grove and Schaumburg.
