Power outage affects Roselle police, fire

The village of Roselle closed several municipal buildings and departments on Monday due to a power outage.

As of 12:30 p.m., Roselle’s Village Hall, as well as the police department, fire department and public works buildings, were closed for the rest of the day, according to a post on social media.

The village’s phone system and computer network were not working due to the outage.

Roselle asked residents to dial 911 to reach the police and fire departments in the case of an emergency.
