New Trump store celebrates grand opening in Crystal Lake

Lisa Fleischmann was right in the middle of the ribbon cutting Saturday morning for her new Trump Truth Store in Crystal Lake.

The business owner was set to celebrate the store’s grand opening Saturday and Sunday at 829 S. Virginia Road, Crystal Lake.

The store sells clothing and merchandise pertaining to President Donald Trump and includes goods about first responders, military and Second Amendment rights, according to the store’s website.

Fleischmann and her store have had a tumultuous journey since opening in a strip mall on Route 47 in Huntley.

Fleischmann left that location July 13, 2025, as part of a settlement for an eviction case.

The eviction came after Fleischmann was cited for sign ordinance violations in December 2024. The landlord of the Huntley strip mall had received the same violations, which prompted the proceedings.

Fleischmann opened the store in the larger Crystal Lake location only for holiday sales in late December 2025 before temporarily closing it before a planned grand opening.
