Streamwood police say no threat to public as death investigation underway

Streamwood police are investigating a death on the village’s far northeast side, saying there’s no public threat but warning motorists to avoid the area because of road closures.

The police department announced via social media Tuesday morning that Williamsburg Drive is closed between Boxwood Court and Sandhurst Court while officers investigate the death.

Police said more details would be forthcoming.
