Submit your ‘Courageous Love’ artwork to Gary Church Art Gallery by May 5
Artists — ages 14 and up — are invited to submit their artwork with a theme of “Courageous Love” by Tuesday, May 5, for inclusion in the Gary Church Art Gallery in June.
Through your original art, consider how courageous love might be seen, felt and lived. Reflect on the courage to love: first, in receiving love without condition, and then in embodying that love in the world through compassion, acceptance and grace.
Through your art, consider how courageous love might be seen, felt and lived — and what it asks of us today.
The gallery will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 5; 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 6; and 8:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, June 7, at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton.
