Families invited to fancy tea party with princess guest in Northbrook
Parents and children can spend special time together at the Northbrook Park District’s Spring Tea on Saturday, May 2.
Families can enjoy light appetizers, sip refreshments, engage in arts and crafts, and be charmed by story time with a princess.
Participants will also decorate their own flowerpots, and will be given soil and flower seeds to plant at home. All along, a talented pianist will perform favorite animated film tunes.
“The Spring Tea event is a time where adults and children alike can experience a ‘royal’ tea party, with a memorable visit from a special princess that is sure to make any child believe in fairy tales,” Recreation Supervisor Maria Warren said. “We love being able to celebrate the beauty of the growing world around us this spring season, and we look forward to the fancy outfits, big smiles and quality time with families!”
The event takes place 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 2 at Techny Prairie Activity Center, 180 Anets Drive, in Northbrook.
The cost is $65 for residents and $85 for nonresidents (cost is per adult-child pair; additional attendees are $19 for residents and $25 for nonresidents).
