Schaumburg recycling event taking place April 25

Schaumburg's annual Community Recycling Event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Wintrust Field, 1999 Springinsguth Road.

Residents can safely dispose of old electronics, small appliances, batteries, light bulbs and more. Paint and larger electronics recycling is available for a fee.

Document destruction will also be available, however, hazardous waste will not be accepted.
