Senior showcase: Annual ‘Follies’ puts older performers in the spotlight
“Age is just a number” took on new meaning Sunday in Schaumburg, as some of the community’s most talented performers of a certain age took to the stage for musical numbers and more.
The setting was the 11th annual Senior Follies at the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts. The show is Schaumburg’s yearly opportunity for its older residents to show they still have “it” when it comes to singing, dancing, comedy and other performing arts.
