‘Nunsense’ musical coming to The Lodge in Elgin April 10-19

Point2pointproductions will present the musical comedy “Nunsense,” with music, book and lyrics by Dan Goggin, on April 10-19.

This show revolves around five of the surviving Little Sisters of Hoboken who organize a talent show to raise funds for the burial of four fellow nuns who were accidentally poisoned by their cook, Sister Julia, and are currently stored in the freezer.

The chaotic, nun-run revue features song-and-dance numbers, slapstick comedy, audience participation, and a Reverend Mother who gets high — you’ll have to see it to believe it!

The musical is directed by Barry Norton, with music direction by Andrew Luzwick. The talented cast include Carrie Dabelow, Amber Dow, Pamela Jones, Dana Hardel, and Amy DeLamoreaux.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, April 10-18, and 2 p.m. Sundays, April 12 and 19, at The Lodge Performing Arts Center, 18 Villa Court in Elgin.

Tickets are $28, plus $2 service fee per ticket Tickets can be purchased at Schaumburgonstage.org.
