PGA Tour Superstore coming to Northbrook
Georgia-based PGA Tour Superstore has signed a lease for a new 30,000-square-foot store in Northbrook.
Located at 1072 Willow Road in the Willow Festival Shopping Center, the Northbrook store will be a new clubhouse for the North Shore and greater Chicago area with an immersive retail and practice environment designed for players of all skill levels. The specialty golf retailer now has stores in Downers Grove, Schaumburg and Vernon Hills.
Visitors will find custom club fittings, same-day Fit & Go services and expert club repair at the store. Eight trackman-powered simulators will support fittings, instruction and practice, complemented by an 850-square-foot indoor putting green. A dedicated simulator showroom will showcase more than a dozen launch monitors and simulator systems, allowing customers to compare technology and find the ideal setup for their game, according to a company news release.
“We’re thrilled to bring PGA Tour Superstore to Northbrook, a community that truly embodies the spirit of the game,” said Troy Rice, CEO of PGA Tour Superstore. “The North Shore is home to some of the most passionate golfers in the country, and we’re excited to create a destination where players of all skill levels, from scratch golfers to beginners and weekend warriors, can find the largest and latest selection of gear, improve their game and connect with others who share their love for golf.”
Beyond the tech, the store will offer a selection of men’s, women’s and juniors’ apparel and footwear.
“At Regency, our strategy is rooted in curating a thoughtful mix of leading retailers that connect with our customers’ lifestyles,” said Nick Koglin, vice president and market officer for Regency Centers, which operates the Willow Festival Shopping Center. “With more than 90 nearby courses and a passionate golf culture, PGA Tour Superstore’s addition reinforces Willow Festival’s role as a premier North Shore destination while advancing our long-term merchandising vision and better serving the community it serves.”
A grand opening is anticipated this fall with an official date to be announced.
