North Central hosts Chords for Kids concert
North Central College is hosting its annual Chords for Kids concert, a free, sensory-friendly musical experience designed for children with special needs and their families.
The concert will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in Wentz Concert Hall, 71 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville.
Adopting the motto “Wigglers Welcomed,” Chords for Kids creates a judgment-free environment where traditional concert etiquette is relaxed. Audience members are encouraged to sing, move, and dance throughout the performance, allowing children and families to fully enjoy live music in an inclusive and supportive setting.
The program features a mix of popular and familiar selections, including “YMCA,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” and “The Chicken Dance,” alongside additional ensemble music performed by North Central College student musicians.
Admission is free; however, tickets are required and should be reserved in advance
Reserve at northcentralcollege.edu/show or call the box office at (630) 637-SHOW (7469).
