Sweden’s Queen of Swing plays Schaumburg Prairie Center Feb. 6
The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts will present internationally acclaimed jazz sensation Gunhild Carling at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6.
A true musical force of nature, Gunhild Carling is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, dancer and composer whose electrifying performances have captivated audiences around the world. She has been featured in collaborations with Post Modern Jukebox and has appeared on both “Sweden’s Got Talent” and “America’s Got Talent.” Known for her infectious charisma and jaw-dropping versatility, Carling seamlessly blends hot jazz, swing, Dixieland and vintage pop into a high-energy concert experience that feels both timeless and thrillingly modern.
This 90-minute concert is a vibrant celebration of classic jazz traditions brought to life by one of today’s most exciting performers. From swinging standards to dazzling originals, audiences can expect a night full of musical surprises, humor and irresistible rhythm.
