Wheaton church to host blood drive Feb. 4

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, Feb. 4. It will be 2 to 6 p.m. at the church, 224 N. Main St.

You can register at garychurch.org/registrations. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Versiti, the blood drive administrator at the church, says although about 38% of the population is eligible to give blood, less than 5% do. And, for every pint donated, up to three lives can be saved. Mark your calendar for these additional blood drives in 2026: May 6, Aug. 19 and Nov. 18.

Gary United Methodist Church has celebrated deep roots in the community since 1853. The church has vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions.
