Schaumburg makes top 10 in Digital Cities Survey for 17th time

The village of Schaumburg has been ranked 8th nationally in its population category in the 2025 Digital Cities Survey presented by the Center for Digital Government (CDG).

This year marks Schaumburg’s 17th consecutive time in the top 10 — an achievement that underscores the village’s long-standing commitment to innovation, digital transformation and exceptional public service, officials said.

“This award demonstrates how our ongoing investments in technology — combined with forward-thinking leadership and exceptional staff — continue to make Schaumburg a leader in municipal innovation,” Village Manager Brian Townsend said.

The Digital Cities Survey honors cities that demonstrate measurable progress in using technology to strengthen service delivery, expand digital equity, enhance cybersecurity and improve community trust.
