Eddie Gaedel Pub & Grill in Elburn to close this month
Eddie Gaedel Pub & Grill in Elburn has announced it will close later this month after 13 years.
The business made the announcement on its social media channels Wednesday. Its last day will be Dec. 27.
“It’s been an honor to be part of your weekend kickoff celebrations, your chill weekday rituals, and your ‘let’s just grab one’ evenings,” the post read. “You turned our little Pub and Grill into a great cozy place.”
The restaurant and bar is in the village’s downtown at 117 N Main St.
“We are grateful for every visit, every story swapped across the bar,” the post said. “Our team poured their hearts into this place, and you met that with warmth and support from day one.
“We hope you’ll stop by in these final weeks so we can raise one more glass together — not in sadness, but in gratitude. For the community we built. For the friendships that will outlast the tanks and taps. For all the memories we get to keep forever.”
