Tickets on sale for West Aurora’s winter concert and 38th annual Madrigal dinner
Tickets are available for two of West Aurora High School’s most anticipated annual events — the Winter Concert and the 38th annual Madrigal Dinner. Both performances highlight the outstanding talent, dedication, and creativity of the student musicians and performers.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, enjoy an evening of exceptional music featuring all West Aurora choirs, the Wind Symphony, and the Jazz Ensemble, with stage production by the West Aurora stage crew.
The Winter Concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium, 1201 W. New York St. in Aurora. Tickets are $5 per person, reserved seating. This concert typically sells out so reserve your seats early!
Purchase tickets via sd129tickets.org or via wachoir.org.
On Dec. 13-14, step into the holiday season with this beloved West Aurora tradition, featuring a full costumed performance by the Madrigal Singers, Madrigal Brass, and singing servers.
The Dec. 13 event is already sold out but the matinee performance at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, is open. It is a dessert-only performance (cheesecake, coffee, and wassail).
Tickets are available now at wachoir.org. Tickets are $16 or $26, which includes a limited edition Madrigal Singers hot cocoa mug.
“These traditions are highly anticipated each year by our students, alumni, and community members, and are an excellent showcase of the value that West Aurora places on music and the fine arts in our community!” said Brian Smith, director of choirs.
Celebrate the season with two nights of music, food, and festive spirit presented by the talented students and staff of West Aurora High School.
