Aurora University falls to league leader Concordia

Concordia (Wisconsin) scored the final 19 points of the football game to beat Aurora University 54-45 on Saturday and take control of the NACC race. Aurora built a 45-35 lead in the final seconds of the third quarter on a 12-yard run by T.J. Ramsey (Conant).

Concordia came back with a 76-yard touchdown reception by Jason Leonard, then a 48-yard TD catch by Jacob Pugh.

The visiting Falcons led in total yards 478-295 and forced three turnovers. Aurora dropped to 4-3 overall, 3-2 in league play. CUW is 6-1, 5-0 and has beaten all the top contenders in the NACC.

Wheaton 47, Carthage 21

Wheaton College had the Wheaton North High School connection clicking in a 47-21 victory over Carthage. Quarterback Mark Forcucci threw for 378 yards and five touchdowns, while receiver Seth Kortenhoeven hauled in nine catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end Ben Juska (Westmont) added 99 receiving yards and two scores. No. 22 Wheaton improved to 4-2, 4-1 in the CCIW.

North Central 75, North Park 0

Eight players scored touchdowns as No. 1 North Central rolled to an easy win on Chicago's Far North Side. Thomas Skokna (Hinsdale Central) finished with 6 receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
