Humana hosting pickleball pop-up at Woodfield Mall Saturday

Humana is taking America’s fastest growing sport, pickleball, to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg on Saturday.

As part of the invite campaign launched earlier this year, Humana is inviting older adults to “get in the game” with pickleball pop-ups that will transform the mall location into a vibrant hub of movement, play and connection, offering community members fun and accessible opportunities to stay active.

Executives from Humana will be joined by the Association of Pickleball Players (APP) and Jalonda Hill, a health and wellness influencer.

Remarks will begin at 9:10 a.m., followed by clinics hosted by APP until 5 p.m. The event will also include court play, SilverSneakers warmups and cool downs, refreshments, guidance on injury prevention and healthy living resources, and recovery tools including massage devices, resistance bands and zero gravity chairs.
