Free prescription drug disposal event in Cary Oct. 25

State Rep. Steve Reick and the Cary Police Department are hosting a free prescription drug drop-off event on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cary Municipal Center, 755 Georgetown Drive.

The no-questions-asked program is conducted in coordination with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to ensure the proper and environmentally safe disposal of prescription medications. Needles, liquids and illicit drugs will not be accepted.
