U-46 to hold marching band showcase Thursday in Streamwood

Members of the marching bands from five Elgin Area School District U-46 high schools will perform during a showcase at Streamwood High School’s Millennium Field, 701 W. Schaumburg Rd., on Thursday, Oct. 16.

The program begins with a performance of the national anthem at 6 p.m., followed by Streamwood High School’s band at 6:15 p.m., Elgin at 6:45 p.m., Larkin at 7:15 p.m., Bartlett at 7:45 p.m., and South Elgin at 8:15 p.m.

Admission is free and gates open at 5:30 p.m.
