Free senior health fairs in Wauconda and Palatine

Illinois Sen. Darby Hills, a Republican from Barrington Hills, is hosting senior health fairs this month in Wauconda and Palatine.

The first event is from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Wauconda Township Center, 505 W. Bonner Road, Wauconda. The second is the same time Oct. 22, at the Palatine Senior Center, 505 S. Quentin Road.

The free community events connect seniors with local organizations, health care providers and government agencies offering valuable information and resources.

Attendees can participate in free health screenings, explore wellness programs and learn about services that promote healthy and active living.
