Hear multiple languages at Gary UMC in Wheaton on World Communion Sunday
On World Communion Sunday Oct. 5, Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton will celebrate by hearing a variety of languages.
At both the 9 and 11:11 a.m. worship, churchgoers will hear Scripture, music and the communion liturgy in multiple languages. Some of the languages include Spanish, French, Hebrew, Arabic, Italian, Korean, Tagalog, English, and American Sign Language.
World Communion Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate the universal church that Christ opens to people of all ages, nations and races.
Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton, has celebrated deep roots in the community since 1853. The church has vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions.
