Shred papers at Elburn event

People can have paperwork shredded for free from 9 to 11 a.m., or until the truck is full, Oct. 4 at the Town and Country Library, 320 E. North St. in Elburn.

The event is sponsored by state Sen. Don DeWitte and state Rep. Dan Ugaste. They will also collect nonperishable food for the Elburn Countryside Food Pantry. People should remove binder clips and plastic file folders.

While it is a drive-up event, people can park their cars if they want to watch their documents being shredded.
